Why This Reference Exists
Sherman County does not operate a standalone adult jail. Adults are held at Northern Oregon Regional Corrections in The Dalles, the criminal judgment remains with Sherman Circuit Court, and community supervision is shared with Wasco County. State prison records belong to the Oregon Department of Corrections, while federal releases use the Bureau of Prisons system. We organize those release records, offender searches, supervision routes, and request steps in one place because no single portal owns the whole trail.

The site separates current custody from completed release and directs each question to the office that can answer it.

What We Cannot Provide
This is a privately operated reference and has no connection to an Oregon government agency, sheriff's office, jail, court, parole board, or corrections department. We do not hold the records described here and have no power over custody decisions.
- We cannot release, hold, or transfer a person in custody.
- We cannot post security, schedule visits, or send funds for a visitor.

- We cannot promise that every address, phone number, fee, or agency detail remains current.
Only the responsible jail, sheriff, corrections agency, court, or supervision office can officially confirm custody, charges, release, or discharge.
